We have a vacancy in Centrient for a Innovation Project Associate Director.
The Position
The Innovation Project Associate Director will be responsible for providing leadership and project management to support key strategic development projects of Centrient Pharmaceuticals. Interacting with key stakeholders internally as well as various external partners such as CRO’s, to ensure on time and in budget deliveries of those projects. Senior management will be involved as relevant based on effective reporting.
The main activities and responsibilities
- End to End Project Tracking: From idea generation until it gets handed off to Techical Operatoins for implementation (5-7 projects per year)
- GNATT Chart management
- Deliverable tracking
- Timeline tracking
- Business case updates
- Budgeting
- Apply basic finance modelling skills to help with very early-stage opportunity framing and business model creation.
- Help with idea generation and in-licensing reviews.
- Execute projects within defined budget working closely with finance and avoid any deviation.
- Overlay on the business model based on the mapping.
- Steering data collection and Input management of Technical Operations, Finance, Regulatory, IP, Legal metrics.
- Mapping of available CRO's, capabilities, specializations, etc.
- Create a University Program Tracker to work with Senior Patent Counsel to develop list of active university projects, know-how, and capabilities.
The Ideal Candidate
- Approximately 7 to 10 years of experience within a global organization well established in the pharma industry or known for best practices.
- Pharmacist + MBA; consulting background will be a plus
- Proven business acumen is as important as technical skills.
- Pharmaceutical portfolio and/or pipeline management, preference for high volume generics.
- Technical background in Chemistry or Molecular Biology would be a bonus, but not strictly needed.
- Finance skills / building business cases
- Strong interpersonal relationship
- Used to operate in a global and matrix organization
- Project management skills
- Excellent PPT and Excel Skills
- Very organized, process driven, with PMP skill set.
- Assertive and flexible
- Results orientated with high resilience.
