Role outline

You will be replacing one of our team members on maternity leave, the position is 80% (4 days per week) for a 6 month period, with the possibility of extension and a permanent contract after this timeframe.

You will be responsible for cash collection and dunning management for both your and other accounts, and work closely with Finance on this task.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for relationship management with existing customers and for increasing customer retention. You ensure that new companies use TrekkSoft immediately and see the return on investment. Your customers will be based around the world, with special focus on our Italian-speaking market. You will work closely with the sales team across the entire customer lifecycle: customer onboarding and integration, first bookings, problem resolution, account optimization, and growth to successful and happy customers.


Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of around 100 clients in a dynamic software environment.
  • Manage cash collection and dunning management for our customer portfolio. This is a key part of the role.
  • Onboard your new accounts.
  • Be on top if your accounts' success, standing over their performance and tracking NRR.
  • Optimizing your accounts' usage of the system so they can grow with TrekkSoft.
  • Detecting issues ahead of time and prevent churn by timely and efficient issue resolution.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Account Management or a Customer Success role.
  • Demonstrable experience in cash collection, with independent communication and decision-making in this area.
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently onboard customers and familiarize yourself with different use cases.
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent writing and communication skills.
  • You are self-sufficient, independent, and able to work in a high-pressure startup environment.
  • Fluent in English is a must.
  • Additional fluency in at least one of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, German. Italian is a big plus
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong experience working with CRMs (we use Hubspot).
  • Previous experience in SaaS or travel technology is a plus.
  • You are an EU resident and have a valid work permit for the EU.
  • Being physically located in Spain is preferable, but not a must.
