Requirements
The General manager will have a full Pamp;L responsibility, will report directly to the COO and will be the key person to position Blok as the leading on-demand grocery player in his country with the support of the central team.
In this role you will:- Launch and build the country team from scratch across the functions of Marketing, Commercial/Purchasing and Operations. Define the marketing strategy and a roadmap that will allow execution on a local scale in order to achieve Blok’s growth objectives.
- Take over the operations from the launching team and evolve them to sustain a fast-growth pace, implement processes to improve efficiencies, build amp; grow the team.
- Set targets and KPIs, define key initiatives, plan budgets, determine resources required, monitoring execution across channels, establishing local partnerships.
- Build and sustain a sound legal, administrative and finance structure in the country that can support the fast growth of the company
- In collaboration with the Public Relations Manager, manage the company's external communication with the PR agency (the face of the company in the country).
- A significant and successful experience within a fast-growing startup, in charge of operations, sales and marketing.
- Managerial experience of big teams and data-driven mindset.
- Autonomy, proactivity, energetic with hands on attitude.
- A strategic vision and creativity, accompanied by an agile spirit, open to test amp; learn in order to propose innovative ideas, improve those already in place and constantly monitor the impact of actions.
- Leadership, the ability to dialogue with all the departments and to engage people with different levels of seniority will be essential for piloting an ambitious strategy and driving a high-performance team in a constantly changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Native Spanish and fluent in English.
