Zeptolab is looking for a Data Science Intern to join our team in Barcelona!
ZeptoLab is a global gaming company dedicated to the science of fun. Everything we do is data-driven. Our company currently consists of 120 employees, and you will have a chance to work with great professionals. Everyone in the company is naturally curious, passionate, and eager to share and absorb new information.
This role is based in Barcelona, 6h/day.
- Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to craft, test, verify and implement machine learning models to optimize Zeptolab audience growth;
- Apply statistical methodologies to evaluate performance and account for uncertainties in major initiatives;
- Design and develop using standard practices within a GitHub environment;
- Working with all parts of the business to identify analytical requirements and formalize an approach for reliable, relevant, accurate, efficient reporting on those requirements;
- Translating business needs to technical requirements and implementation.
- Final year students from disciplines relating to Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or other equivalent Quantitative fields;
- Python (pandas; scikit-learn; numpy + ML-stack);
- Practical experience in the implementation of ML-projects;
- Solid knowledge of statistics;
- Experience working with various data sources;
- Understanding the logic of preprocessing, cleaning, and preparing data;
- Clean and readable code (a link to GitHub with examples of your work will be a plus);
- SQL + basic familiarity with Linux;
- Readiness for autonomous work and the ability to independently find answers to emerging questions;
- Excellent written and spoken English.
