Head of Operations Spain

The Operations team is our heart and engine to deliver a stellar grocery experience to our customers. As a Head of Operations, you will oversee and develop our Rider and Warehouse operations in Spain to the next level. In this critical role, you will work closely with the General Manager of your country and you are expected to be her primary thought partner.

In this role you will:

• Build, develop and motivate a local team of Darkstore and Rider Managers within our operating cities
• Fully own and report the operational performance of all the dark stores in the country to HQ
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to increase sales and streamline our Darkstore and delivery operations
• Work closely with our expansion team to launch new Darkstores and help us to increase our presence in the country
• Actively collaborate with many different stakeholders across global operations, marketing, commercial to enhance and set clear objectives for the operating cities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience leading operational teams in a hyper-growth environment. Previous experience in on-demand delivery is a plus
• Executional Leader: hands-on mindset, willing to get your hands dirty and lead by example to understand and improve our operations
• Data-savvy: you are able to interpret and translate data into actionable insights and you make them happen
• Smartcut problem-solver: you identify and fix problems at warp speed
• Build to scale: you have a track record of creating operational processes that scale
• Effective communicator: fluent in Spanish and English. Catalan is a plus

• Someone who can move quickly while maintaining an attention to detail
• Motivated and excited about opportunities in early stage businesses
• A top team player, you can communicate effectively and keep everyone motivated
• Ability to lead with empathy both strategic and executional profiles
