The role

carwow is looking for a Commercial Director to help us scale our business in Spain. You will become part of the Spain management team and will be responsible for the entire dealer network and therefore all the supply side of our marketplace.

As Commercial Director you will report directly to the Country Manager of Spain and you will be responsible for a +25 people team. You will define and lead our Business Development, Account Management and Commercial Operations strategy in Spain.


Responsibilities

Pamp;L responsibility for the commercial area:

  • Dealer acquisition: acquire the right partners of the individual brands in the right locations for carwow.
  • Account management: cooperation and continuous improvement of conversion rates of our partners.
  • Sales Operations: measuring, tracking and leading the individual teams using KPIs and implementing processes and tools to ensure a continuous productivity improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining a healthy invoice management in cooperation with our finance team.


You are continuously coaching and developing your teams in order to achieve our ambitious growth targets:

  • Recruiting top talent.
  • Coaching employees and developing them professionally.
  • Living a high performance culture.
  • Further development performance based compensation structures for the team.


You continuously analyze what our marketplace has to offer based on existing KPIs, develop suggestions for improvement and implement them.

You will work closely with the rest of the teams (product, data and marketing) and the other markets in order to advance carwow together. You always have an open ear for feedback from dealers and manage to channel this into our product.

You will represent carwow in industry events, facilitate and lead meetings with high profile dealer groups for new business or relationship management and will own relationships with key dealer industry stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You are full of energy, resilient and self-confident, but down to earth.
  • Self-motivated to achieve your own goals and those of your team.
  • A strong communicator: direct and very motivating in your internal and external communication.
  • Very well organized and manage to effectively organize and prioritize your tasks and those of your team and do not lose sight of the goals.
  • Analytically strong, numbers driven and can easily structure and present complex concepts.
  • Result-oriented and lead your teams with the same standards.
  • Entrepreneur, understands our unit economics and scaling challenges.
  • Self-critical and emotionally intelligent.
  • Driven to improve constantly.
  • You have an eye for detail and sets a high quality standard.
  • Experience in building, expanding and leading a commercial team.
  • Ideally, gained experience in a top management consultancy and a startup.
  • Native in Spanish and fluent in English.
