As a QA Engineer at Abi, you will be responsible for running the exploratory phase for each features, improving the technical core of the business, contributing to long-term growth and success.

Objectives

You will work closely with our development team to identify, document, and resolve software defects, as well as develop and execute test plans to ensure product quality meets our standards and customer expectations.

Tasks

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed.
  • Automate test cases and participate in the development of automated testing frameworks.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary to validate software functionality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and requirements.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software quality assurance.
  • Communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

You are available for a full time role based in Barcelona, working remotely and/or in our office.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You speak and write English and Spanish at a professional level.
