The role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic software engineer to join our innovative Payments team. From inception to design and implementation, you will engage in every aspect of development: from cutting-edge prototypes to production-ready features that integrate into our internal applications and third-party systems.
The Payments team specialises in implementing robust, scalable and secure services that provide a payment gateway between the company’s internal domains and the outside world, partnering with different providers. This unique role presents a great opportunity to explore the payment sector in its entirety: from credit cards, bank transfers to loans and payments by instalments. You will work closely with our Engineering Manager, Product Manager, other development team members and across multiple domains. Requirements
Excellent software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in your language of choice.
Willingness to learn and code in Rust (don’t worry, we can teach you).
Experience in building robust server-side applications with clean code.
Familiarity with databases and deploying to cloud services (AWS), Docker.
Good communication (English), analysis and collaborative skills.
Nice to haveWhilst not mandatory, any of the following will be good to have:
Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ and GraphQL.
Experience with TDD, DDD and microservice architecture.
Any experience within the payment sector.
