We do this by disrupting the traditional residential real estate market, providing fully furnished and artfully designed apartments for stays starting at one month. We remove all the hassle around finding a rental with no long-term contracts, security deposits, broker fees, moving/buying furniture, etc., giving choice and flexibility to allow people to plant their roots anywhere .
Backed by Europe's best Venture Capital firms, this year will be vital in our growth as we look to further build out our team, further establish ourselves in our current markets, and expand our reach into multiple new markets . We are looking for a Real Estate Business Developer to join our team in Barcelona. As a Real Estate Business Developer you will be responsible for sourcing, touring and acquiring apartments that meet the Ukio apartment criteria.
Your goal will be to forge relationships with property developers, large institutional property owners, and independent landlords to acquire a consistent amount of highly unique apartments in Barcelona. You will also help manage existing relations with property owners, family offices, and residential brokers that are part of the Ukio network. Lastly, you will drive all lease negotiations and agreements with our property partners.
We are a start-up, so you’ll be given a high degree of autonomy and expected to deal with numerous challenges and opportunities along the way.
Responsibilities |- Create a consistent supply pipeline of apartments that meet our standards
- Build network with property developers, family officers, institutional property owners and independent landlords
- Acquire and drive negotiations of long-term leases of high-quality apartments in desirable locations in Barcelona
- Manage the relations with existing property owners of the Ukio network
- Advocate and drive a strong reputation for Ukio in the sector
- You have at least 2+ years of experience working in real estate (residential or property development), specifically in Barcelona
- In depth knowledge and familiarity with the real estate market in Barcelona
- Proven track record of managing complex legal residential leases
- Skilled negotiator and relationship manager
- Proven track record of excellence in surpassing sales targets
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
- Strong network in residential real estate in Barcelona (Spain is a plus)
- Native Spanish and Catalan speaker; Fluency in English
