Who we are?
The Finance Team is the main responsible for managing the preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, cash-flow reports, day-to-day record keeping and reporting, including all payroll, accounts payable, and receivable.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Ledger Accounting Team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do?
- Assist with the preparation of regulatory and compliance filings as required (VAT, IRPF).
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts (assets, intercompany, debt, etc).
- Review and execute commission payments to our B2B partners.
- Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting. Knowledge of taxes in Spain (SII, 303, 111, etc) is mandatory. Knowledge of taxes in the UK (HRMC), France (TVA) and Canada (GST/HST) is a plus, but not required.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of Plan General Contable Español (PGC) is a must.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with Accounting ERP Netsuite (Oracle) is a plus.
