Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with strong interpersonal skills that can work with our talented team of engineers, product teams and other QA engineers to develop and test world-class iGaming solutions.
You'll work closely across multi-functional development teams to help discover, recreate, and debug issues. You will also have the opportunity to contribute and grow our automation testing functionality and frameworks. You will be working with our Front-end and Middleware teams responsible for our different Front-end solutions, our CMS system and the APIs consumed by our front ends partner's and our internal Casino Front-end platform. Responsibilities
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide
timely and meaningful feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
Automate test cases to achieve higher efficiency without sacrificing quality.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Support and mentor developers into our testing strategy.
Maintain and improve our automation testing functionality and frameworks.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes
Manages testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines
Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team
Essential Skills amp; Experience
We are looking for a professional QA engineer with at last 5 years of experience.
Strong Testing background with an excellent understanding of the Test Lifecycle and Testing Best Practices.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge and passion for software QA methodologies amp; processes.
Strong experience in designing automated testing solutions.
Test planning, prioritizing, and coordination.
Experience in working within an agile environment.
Experience with cross-device and cross-browser testing.
Self-motivated with a strong capability of fast learning.
Previous experience taking ownership of validating features/functionality and certifying projects end-to-end with high quality.
Technical understanding of web/mobile technologies.
Experience with bug-tracking systems. (Jira)
Experience with versioning systems. (Git)
Experience with CI. (GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins )
Have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work on your own initiative.
Ability to work independently, proactively and self-managed.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Experience with test automation and testing frameworks. (We use Jest and Cypress)
Experience with programming languages. (We use JavaScript, TypeScript and Go)
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Previous experience in the iGamming industry is a plus.
