Who you are
We are looking for an exceptional Human Resources Generalist who is keen to join our expanding People amp; Culture Team in order to help us scale our People Operations in support of our ongoing business growth.
As a HR Generalist, you’ll be joining our fabulous People amp; Culture team and become a strategic business partner in all things HR. This is a unique opportunity to grow alongside a successful scale-up market leader in its expansion phase. You’ll be able to work on an exciting variety of HR projects in close partnership with both our People amp; Talent Lead and our Head of People amp; Culture, while contributing to the inception, creation and development of one of the most innovative, world-class People amp; Culture Teams in the world! The sky’s the limit, so your role will actually have a huge impact on the company from day one.
Requirements
Your impact
We’re currently scaling the team and hiring talent to grow faster. In that context, you will be responsible for:
- supporting the daily functions of the HR department, including scheduling candidate interviews, processing contractual paperwork, managing employee-related documentation, as well as administering leave and benefits, amongst other;
- collaborating with departmental managers to contract and onboard new recruits, including conducting or acquiring background checks and employee eligibility verifications;
- implementing and/or assisting other team members with new hire orientation and other evolving employee programs;
- performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource schemes, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; occupational health and safety; and training and development - all of these in close partnership and collaboration with other colleagues in the People amp; Culture;
- handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate staff members through a pre-defined escalation system.
