The Mission:
The Mechanical engineer will play a critical role in Worldsensing. This role’s primary focus will be the definition, development, and testing of the enclosures and accessories of our IoT products.

Responsibilities:
- Design and perform tests to ensure the quality of the products that are installed in harsh conditions worldwide.
- Product upgrades with the feedback of customers, field, and production experience.
- Discuss proposals with the internal clients (product manager and colleagues) and write the specifications of the product.
- Design or modify existing enclosures to fit electronics, taking into account manufacturability, cost, and roughness.
- Design or modify accessories related to the Worldsensing products
- Manage prototype fabrication and outsourcing.
- Use technical skills to close the gaps between new requirements and the Worldsensing products.
- Work directly with other engineers, product owners, and other team members to implement complex end-to-end systems.
- Manage and maintain relationships with engineers, product owners, and other technical team members at clients and partners.
- Rigorous commitment to documentation, quality engineering, testing, and support.
Requirements
- Knowledge of one 3D CAD tool like Catia or Solidworks.
- Knowledge of 2D CAD tools like Autocad.
- Organization and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with external engineers or companies directly.
- Fluency in the Spanish language.
- Technical proficiency in English.
- Be proactive and willing to work within a team and grow.
- Knowledge of Scrum organization method.
- Organizational skills.
- Project Management skills.
