Job Description

The role you’ll play

You will work to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.

The team you’ll be a part of

You will work in the Machine Learning Products amp; APIs Team, where we build LanguageWire Translate, LanguageWire’s machine translation (MT), adjacent services to monitor and predict its performance, as well as APIs and applications exposing it both internally and externally. We constantly explore and apply state-of-the-art approaches and advancements in the field. With a research-based approach and the use of the latest technologies, we push the boundaries of ML to deliver innovative solutions.

You will collaborate closely with Full-Stack Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers and reporting to the team lead.

  • Improving and evolving our QA strategy and processes
  • Improving test coverage
  • Work with solutions built with Python and TypeScript/Angular
  • Work in a cross functional team, focused around Machine Learning based services/products
  • Finding and reporting usability problems, bugs, and glitches

What you’ll need to bring

  • Experience with one or more modern programming languages
  • Experience in testing websites and APIs
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Great understanding of the QA processes, techniques and methods
  • Experience producing key test assets (requirements gathering, checklists and test scenarios creation, etc.)
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking)

This will make you stand out

  • Experience with designing and developing automation tests
  • Experience with Kubernetes (we use GKE)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (we use Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with load testing tools (we use Gatling)
