We are a fast growing team that is searching for a Learning amp; Development Specialist to join our People amp; Culture team. This is a brand new contract role that would suit someone that loves learning, having fun and wants to use both their generalist Lamp;D skills and Moodle experience to help us advance our mission!
What your new team and job look like
Our People amp; Culture team is responsible for a broad range of activities to support an engaged and productive global team. Moodle has grown significantly and we’re thrilled to be in a position to welcome a dedicated Learning amp; Development Specialist to our team to help us drive that growth internally.
At Moodle no 2 days will ever be the same, but most days in this role usually involve a mix of:
- Designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of our team members
- Working on Moodle! Using our internal instance of Moodle Workplace to develop courses and learning pathways that improve our team member learning experience
- Keeping things extra interesting by collaborating with the rest of the People amp; Culture team to work on organisational development initiatives such as workforce planning, team member engagement and a range of other projects!
This role can be based anywhere in Europe! In Spain as a fixed term contract employee, or anywhere else in Europe as a contractor, initially until June 2024. Just let us know where you are when you apply.

Requirements
We'd love to meet you
Especially if you can talk to us about your:
- Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training methodologies.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and e-learning tools, with experience with Moodle, and Moodle Workplace experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to quickly and effectively build strong relationships, trust and credibility with stakeholders
- Exceptional organisational and project management abilities.
- English language proficiency, both spoken and written
