We are seeking an accomplished Senior FX Artist to join our team. This role involves crafting mesmerising visual effects using Houdini FX, with proficiency in Redshift and Arnold rendering. As a Senior FX Artist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual impact of our projects while working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Art Director, FX Leads, and production teams to understand the project's visual style and FX requirements.
• Create and refine complex and dynamic visual effects using Houdini FX, ensuring they align with the artistic and technical vision of the project.
• Implement and optimize FX elements for rendering with Redshift and Arnold, delivering high-quality results.
• Collaborate with the lighting and compositing teams to seamlessly integrate FX elements into the final frame.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions to achieve FX objectives.
• Contribute to the development of efficient FX workflows and pipelines.
• Review and approve FX deliverables to ensure they meet the project's creative vision.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior FX Artist in the VFX or animation industry.
• A portfolio showcasing your mastery of FX creation and rendering, with a focus on Houdini FX, Redshift, and Arnold.
• Proficiency in Houdini FX, with strong knowledge of Redshift and Arnold rendering.
• In-depth understanding of FX principles, simulation techniques, and rendering technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within remote teams.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlines.
