Job Description

As part of the Immersive Healthcare team, the Clinical Insights Manager will work with closely with our product and development teams to ensure that our REAL System maximizes clinical value for our customers. Responsibilities include researching relevant clinical conditions, defining product requirements to address clinical conditions, partnering with development teams to build features to meet those requirements, supporting the commercialization of new and existing products. As part of the Immersive Healthcare team, the Clinical Insights Manager will work with a multi-disciplinary development team to deliver innovative and clinically valuable healthcare solutions.What You'll Work On
  • Inform new areas of product development by defining new features and new products that maximize the clinical value offered through by our REAL System therapy solution
  • Participate on cross-functional development team to develop new and/or enhanced product features and content.
  • Identify critical clinical and business needs by synthesizing relevant feedback from various internal and external customer stakeholders that will be used to inform new product development.
  • Participate on cross-functional launch team to ensure successful delivery of new products to sales organization and clinician end users.
  • Build strong awareness of customer needs by analyzing product usage data and working directly with customers and other customer-facing internal stakeholders.
  • Research industry trends, competitive intelligence and market behaviors to develop an accurate understanding of customer needs and customer perceptions.
  • Plan, organize and manage projects to support product development work.
  • Monitor the performance of products and features post-launch to support commercial needs and future product development.
  • Participate in market research activities as required.
  • Identify and build relationships with key clinical and/or scientific leaders to advance research and/or product objectives.
  • Coordinate reviews of clinical and academic research proposals.
  • Represent the company at tradeshow meetings to gather intelligence and/or promote company products.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
  • Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business or related field with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated healthcare industry experience desired.
  • Experience in rehabilitation field preferred.
  • Knowledge of software and/or hardware development preferred.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to ensure we are developing meaningful and valuable therapy solutions.
  • Demonstrated interest and/or experience with new software and hardware technologies (virtual reality, wearables, enterprise software, motion sensor tracking, etc.).
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Self-motivation and self-direction are needed to succeed for our fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to clearly, frequently, and effectively communicate through various communication mediums (e.g., video chat, in-person, written) is critical.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously.

  • General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. May have business travel from 0% - 25%. Must be able to tolerate use of virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality head mounted displays for extended periods of time (typically 30 min to 45 min multiple times in a single day). Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office. Equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
