The scale-up nature of the business, with over 400 employees, combined with the company’s extensive array of products and technologies, positions ideally Truphone to capitalise upon the growth momentum in its chosen global communication application markets. Truphone has recently undergone an ownership transition bringing onboard a duo of highly successful technology entrepreneurs as fully engaged owners with a long-term vision for the company. At the same time a new dynamic management team is being formed bringing along the start-up ethos and the can do mentality that drives world class scale-up companies in this well-established sector. As a result, we expect to see rapid expansion of the business in the next years well in excess of the gt;20% p.a. growth rates experienced until now whilst focusing on profitability and cash generation.

We are looking for a talented New Business Development Manager to join our IoT and eSIM Solutions team. Your role is to identify and secure new logo businesses in the EMEA market. You will be responsible for establishing breakthrough deals with global and local partners in the IoT ecosystem, particularly Device Manufacturers, Mobile Operators, and IoT Players and other global companies. You will work for existing accounts and identify new potential customers against defined new sales and revenue targets.

We are open to candidates based in Spain, Portugal, Poland, UK and Germany.

Requirements

What you will do:

  • Achieve the revenue growth targets;
  • Identify and develop key partners (through events, research, social media, networking etc.) and qualify their fit to Truphone capabilities and sustainable business models;
  • Work closely with internal technical support and pre-sales teams to develop propositions that leverage Truphone capabilities and produce a significant and sustainable incremental stream of revenues;
  • Develop and test new propositions with Partners; take part in proofs of concept(POC);
  • Construct business cases and commercial models and respond to selected RFPs, RFIs and RFQs;
  • Manage key stakeholders and gain internal approvals from Finance and Legal;
  • Report back on key sales performance measures, forecasts and market analysis (competitive landscape, positioning) in your accounts and targets;
  • Manage, develop and expand business within existing partners.


What you will bring:

  • Experience in selling connectivity and/or software platforms into the IoT ecosystem, mobile operators and system integrators. eSIM knowledge is a plus;
  • Contrasted experience of sales management into multinational accounts with aggressive targets and exceptional track record.
  • Excellent English both written and verbal;
  • Able to deliver presentations at decision maker level for both technical and business propositions;
  • Self-learner who enjoys working autonomously and thrives in a fast pace environment;
  • Excellent negotiation skills, able to deliver valuable outcomes and close deals;
  • Well informed with key IoT, eSIM and mobile industry trends and their relevance for Truphone;
  • Willing to commit to frequent international travelling.
