Bumper is a fast-growing payments start-up and we’re excited to continue developing the amazing growth we’ve seen in Spain, having recently completed a successful Series A funding round. We’re looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, and visionary Business Development Consultant to continue to grow Bumper's client base in Spain. Our mission is to scale Bumper into a global brand!

Our new Head Office is in Sheffield City Centre, with offices also based in London and Turkey. We've recently brought retailers in Germany, Spain, Ireland and the Netherlands on board, and are currently branching out into Poland - world domination here we come!

A bit about the role...

We are looking for a shiny new Business Development Consultant to join our thriving team in Spain. You will have two core responsibilities - customer acquisition and new loan origination. You will be expected to create and enhance the portfolio of automotive retailers within Spain, while simultaneously driving high volumes of payments. You will develop close relationships with OEM’s, retails groups and established third party automotive systems so it’s imperative you are based in Galicia, Santander, or Bilbao. The role will be largely remote, with an average of 2 days per week out and about visiting sites.

You will provide a pivotal role in the growth of Bumper's clients and partnerships in the Spanish automotive market, giving you the chance to play a key role in a rapidly growing sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Build an extensive customer base and increase retailer sales
• Conduct account reviews to analyse and boost the customer’s interaction with Bumper
• Develop strong and lasting relationships at both manufacturer and retailer level

Location:

We are looking for Business Development Consultants to be based in Galicia, Santander, or Bilbao, with travel required.

What we are looking for in you...

• You will have a proven track record as a Business Development Consultant/Manager, Regional Sales Manager, District Sales Manager, Field Sales Manager or Territory Manager, and you will be able to evidence your ability and previous achievements in growing a portfolio of clients
• You will have extensive motor trade experience combined with a strong network of dealership relationships and contacts
• You’ll have experience of introducing new products to market and challenging established thinking regarding new product adoption and car financing
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Experience in sales and account management
• Highly self-motivated and target driven
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Full and clean Spanish Driving License

Benefits

• Basic Salary: 55,000 60,000 euros per annum
• Commission: 10-15% per annum OTE
• A car allowance for travelling to and from sites
